About Me
Having a multicultural upbringing as a woman of Puerto Rican heritage, experiencing life living in the English Cotswolds in the mid-1980s, and moving frequently across the United States, I’ve developed a unique worldview. This allows me to easily connect with a variety of people and approach situations with empathy.
I possess a keen sense of how to grasp and interpret things and how to tell the story.
I love the challenge of creating distinctive visuals and finding the right words to convey ideas succinctly. I aim to conjure a vision of what could be.
As the daughter of a journalist and zealous wordsmith, I grew up cultivating a love of language.
From Nancy Drew mysteries to TIME magazine, I devoured books and articles, even priding myself on spelling challenging words like "Czechoslovakia" in under 5 seconds.
Dinnertime conversations often shifted from punctuation debates to global affairs.
In high school and college, I honed my writing by contributing to school publications and gaining experience at Denver's now-defunct Rocky Mountain News.
I am a University of Colorado alumnus with a B.A. in Film Studies and a minor in Journalism.

My career has spanned multiple creative and service-related fields, from Film and Television as a Script Supervisor (I.A.T.S.E. NYC Local 161) to Interior Design and Northern New Jersey-based Real Estate Agent. I even did a 3-year stint as a Professional Gardener for an urban landscaping firm!
Through these experiences, I’ve refined my aesthetic eye and approach to communications, leading me to my current path. I've also gained an understanding of what it takes to build and manage a business from ground up.
In my free time, I enjoy:
✢ Spending time with my family and friends
✢ Finding and listening to vinyl records
✢ Watching old and new films
✢ Personal writing and screenwriting
✢ Reading print and digital writing
✢ Rockin' out (or chillin' out) at concerts
✢ Taking in nature

✢ Fostering and engaging with my community
✢ Volunteering and DJing at the esteemed free-form radio station WFMU, based in Jersey City, NJ, with a worldwide audience.
